The irony of this story makes me laugh. "She breathed a quick prayer that life might be long. It was only yesterday she had thought with a shudder that life might be long." She was finally excited that her husband had died, that she was so relieved and fulfilled with joy, but little did she know that he was not dead. When he came back, and she saw him, she had a heart attack and died. The irony in this is how she went from being "Oh, I'm finally free. I can finally live life" to "Oh no! My husband returned! Fuck! [Death]."
